Wonderfully balanced and beautifully presented dishes alongside friendly, relaxed and helpful service made for a special evening.Finding gems like A Cantina makes dining out in new places an exciting adventure. If we&#39;re in Nantes again, we will definitely go back!!

This restaurant is a bit of a puzzle. It comes up with creative dishes with a noticeable  non-French influence but could do better on presentation. Its wine menu is long, but not deep. Staff is friendly and open, but could do better on observing protocol. On the whole, I liked the personal, non-traditional approach but I can imagine people taking issue with the wine not being offered for tasting or being poured. On a warm but windy evening, our table, in the restaurant, but with the glass doors open, was just perfect.

Delightful interesting food. Great service and even a discussion about the history of France and England with the waiter!

Staff nice. We waited a little too much for us. I was not so delighted by the choucroute seafood. The terrasse is really nice also. So it is ok for us but not that great.

Excellent food and service! If you are in Nantes, check out this place. You will not be disappointed. Only thing is samosas could be bigger, other than that it was great.

Nous avons tr&egrave;s bien mang&eacute; dans ce restaurant. Nous avons command&eacute; le thon et nous avons eu une belle pi&egrave;ce de poisson frais tr&egrave;s bien cuite. Par contre un peu trop sal&eacute;. Les l&eacute;gumes en accompagnement &eacute;taient d&eacute;licieux.J&#39;ai command&eacute; un pouding en dessert, un peu d&eacute;&ccedil;ue car trop sec, mais peut-&ecirc;tre je n&#39;aime pas simplement cela.&uml;Par contre j&#39;ai trouv&eacute; que les tables &eacute;taient trop rapproch&eacute;e, on entendait les voisons. C&#39;est dommage.

We had a very good food in this restaurant. We ordered the tuna and we had a beautiful fresh fish piece very well cooked. However, a little too salty. The vegetables were delicious. I ordered a dessert pooding, a little disappointed because too dry, but maybe I don&#39;t just like it.&uml; However, I found that the tables were too close, they heard the visions. That&#39;s a pity.

Un excellent d&icirc;ner lors d&rsquo;un passage professionnel sur Nantes. Je recommande! Des plats de qualit&eacute; et un service agr&eacute;able en cette soir&eacute;e de saint Valentin ou le restaurant &eacute;tait complet !
